Background  Richard Pembroke has been a director of REDD Corporation (previously Redfern Development Corporation) since 2002. REDD Corporation operated in Sydney as a multi faceted property services company, involved in acquisitions and renovations of homes and commercial buildings in Redfern and the Eastern suburbs. Prior to 2002 Richard was a director of two franchise sales offices in the Ray White Group in Sydney and regularly appeared in the top ten NSW sales lists. During his time as an owner of a real estate office he took a strong interest in building wealth through sensible property acquisitions and development and started working closely with buyers who were keen to add value to their properties before reselling at a profit. Working with clients it was not unusual for them to achieve returns between 50% and 100% over a 2-3 year period. Richard and his wife visited the Snowy Mountains every year since 1990, in both summer and winter and developed an extensive knowledge of the Snowy Mountain property market and its idiosyncracies. In 2007, with the expansion of the local grammar school, they decided to buy in the area and now live at  Mia Creek, a boutique lifestyle property in the Thredbo valley  with 2 of their 4 daughters,  http://miacreek.com.au, where they welcome  many guests during the winter.
